Courage My Love is a pop-punk band from Canada that was founded in 2009 .

history

Courage My Love was founded in Kitchener , Ontario in 2009 by the twin sisters Mercedes Arn-Horn ( vocals , guitar ) and Phoenix Arn-Horn (vocals, drums ), as well as by David Blake-Dickson ( bass , vocals). After building a fan base in their home state of Ontario, the group managed to perform at several festivals, including the Warped Tour , Canadian Music Week and NXNE . Courage My Love played with Paramore , Tokyo Police Club and A Day to Remember . Blake-Dickson left the group in 2012 and was then replaced by Brandon Lockwood.

The band founded their own label Homeskool Prom Records, which has been cooperating with the major label Warner Music since September 18, 2011 . The EP For Now was produced by Chris Perry , who was already nominated for the Juno Awards . Courage My Love toured amongst others with Bleeker Ridge by Canada . For Now was reissued as an acoustic EP a year later. In 2013 a new EP was released with Becoming , which was reissued as an album in 2015 via InVogue Records with bonus material. A third EP was released in 2014 with Animal .

In 2014 the group was nominated for a Juno Award .

The group is currently working on their second studio album.
