Courtney Halverson (born June 14, 1989 in Orange County , California ) is an American actress .

Life

Halverson is from Orange County, California .

She graduated from high school at the age of 15 and appeared in her first film and television productions from 2003. Her roles in the short films A Distant Shore and Sleepwalk earned her a nomination at the Young Artist Awards in 2006 and 2007 .

In 2014 she took on one of the leading roles in the horror film Unknown User . In the second season of the television series True Detective , Halverson starred in the role of Erica Jonson in 2015 .
