Courtney Marsh

Courtney Marsh (* 1986 or 1987 in Fort Lauderdale , Florida ) is an American film director , film producer and screenwriter .

Career

Courtney Marsh was born and raised in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and attended St. Mark's Episcopal Church School. Her parents are Kerry and Corinne Marsh. Her brother is studying at Cornell University . Marsh graduated from St. Thomas University in 2004 and participated in UCLA's film program . After graduating in 2008, she devoted herself to short films. Her career as a director began with the short film Amuse Bouche in 2009. She wrote the script for the short film Manifestations of a Happy Couple and was responsible as producer and director. In 2015, her film Chau, Beyond the Lines was released, for which she received an Oscar nomination at the 2016 Academy Awards .
