The Couze is a river in France that runs in the Corrèze department in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region . It rises in the municipality of Favars , generally drains in a south-westerly direction through a sparsely populated area and flows after 15 kilometers at Puymaret , in the municipality of Malemort-sur-Corrèze, as a right tributary into the Corrèze . On its way, it crosses the Etang de Lachamp and Barrage de la Couze reservoirs .
