Cox 'barberry ( Berberis coxii ) is a plant from the family of the Barberry (Berberidaceae). It is native to the northeast of Myanmar .
description
Cox 'barberry is a dense evergreen shrub with elliptical to ovate-elliptical leaves that are toothed and up to 5 centimeters long. They are glossy dark green on top and heavily frosted on the underside. In late spring, clusters of 3 to 6 pale yellow flowers appear. The berries are oblong-egg-shaped, black in color and blue-pricked.
