Cranstowns Gut (also: Cranstouns Gut ) is a so-called ghaut ( good ), an ephemeral body of water similar to a Fiumara , on St. Kitts , in the Caribbean island state of St. Kitts and Nevis .
geography
The river has its source in the northwest of St. Kitts, in the hilly foot area of Mount Liamuiga on the border between the parishes of Saint Anne Sandy Point and Saint Paul Capisterre . It runs to the west and soon joins The Channel , the strait between St. Kitts and Sint Eustatius .
