Cree River is a river in central-northern Saskatchewan in Canada .

The river has its origin in Cree Lake . It drains it northwards. After about 150 km it reaches the southwest end of Black Lake , through which the Fond du Lac River flows. A few kilometers before its confluence with Black Lake, the Cree River flows through Wapata Lake .
