Cristea Avram

Cristea Avram (also Chris Avram , born August 28, 1931 in Bucharest , † January 10, 1989 in Rome ) was a Romanian actor .

Life

Avram completed his acting studies at the Institute for Theater and Film in Bucharest and then appeared in his home country on the stage and from 1960 also in feature films. When he was engaged for the French film Stern ohne Namen , which was shot in Romania , a friendship began with his colleague Marina Vlady , which, after a second joint appearance, led to his relocation to the West in 1968. From then on, the tall, distinguished actor played numerous roles in French and Italian films, often as a member of high society, until his death from cancer.
