Cristian González , full name Cristian Mario González Aidinovich , (born December 19, 1976 in Estación Atlántida ) is a Uruguayan football player .
Career
society
The 1.82 meter tall defensive player González was at the beginning of his career in 1998 and 1999 with the Uruguayan first division club Liverpool Montevideo under contract and played 46 games (no goal) in the Primera División during this period . In 2001, González played a first division for Deportivo Maldonado . In 2002 and in the Apertura 2003 he was included in the squad of the first division club Defensor Sporting . In the course of 2003 he moved abroad for the first time. In Spain he made his debut on September 14, 2003 with his new club UD Las Palmas in the game against CD Numancia . Up to and including his last use on June 19, 2004 against Rayo Vallecano , he ran in a total of 26 games in the Segunda División for the club from the island of Gran Canaria and scored one goal. He was also used in a Copa del Rey encounter . In the Clausura 2003 he is back in the ranks of defensors. In the Torneo Clasificatorio 2004 he played five first division games (no goal) for the club from Montevideo. The next career station will be its league and city rivals Club Atlético Peñarol . He was placed eleven times (no goal) in the Apertura 2004 in the Primera División and was also a player in the "Aurinegros" in the 2005 mid-season. In the 2005/06 season 22 league appearances at the Israeli club Maccabi Tel Aviv are reported for him. He didn't score a goal. After a stopover at Beitar Jerusalem , where he made 33 appearances in 2010/11 with two goals, his career path finally leads back to his Uruguayan homeland. Since 2011 he has played for the Uruguayan first division club River Plate Montevideo . For the Montevideans, he played in the 2011/12, 2012/13 and 2013/14 seasons in 26 (one goal), 29 (two goals) and 25 (no goal) games in the top Uruguayan league. He didn't score a goal. He also played four games (no goal) in the 2013 Copa Sudamericana . In the 2014/15 season he was used 21 times (no goal) in the Primera División and four times (no goal) in the 2014 Copa Sudamericana . During the 2015/16 season he played 20 times (no goal) in the Primera División and six times (no goal) in the Copa Libertadores 2016 . In early July 2016, he moved to Plaza Colonia within the league . There he completed twelve first division matches (one goal) and two games (no goal) in the Copa Sudamericana 2016 in the 2016 season . In January 2017, the second division club Deportivo Maldonado signed him. So far (as of August 16, 2017) he has been used there eight times (no goal) in the league.
National team
González was a member of the Uruguayan senior team . He made his debut on November 20, 2002 under Jorge Da Silva in his first game as responsible national coach with a starting eleven in the 0-1 defeat in Caracas as part of the Polar Beer Cup against the selection of Venezuela . His last appearance for the "Celeste" was dated June 6, 2004 in the 5-0 away defeat in the World Cup qualifying match with Colombia's national team in Barranquilla . The national coach of Uruguay at that time was Jorge Fossati . He played a total of eight international matches. An international goal was denied him.
