The Croc is a river in France , in the region of Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur runs. It rises under the name Ravin des Crottes in the municipality of Les Omergues , just outside the Regional Nature Park Baronnies Provençales , initially drains in a southerly direction, turns generally to the west at the Plateau d'Albion and reaches in many turns after around 26 kilometers in the municipality of Sault the Nesque , into which it flows as a left tributary. On its way, the Croc crosses the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence and Vaucluse departments .
