Crocmaz (formerly Corcmaz ; Russian Крокмаз Krokmas ) is a village and a municipality in Ștefan Vodă district , Republic of Moldova , 140 km southeast of the capital Chișinău and 30 km east of the district capital Ștefan Vodă .
The village was first mentioned in writing in 1595; it is located on the right bank of the Dniester on the border with Ukraine ( Odessa Oblast , Bilyayivka Raion ).
