Crucero is a town in the Oruro department in the highlands of the South American Andean state of Bolivia .
Location in the vicinity
Crucero is the central place of the eponymous canton Crucero in the district ( Bolivian : Municipio ) of Totora in the province of San Pedro de Totora . The village is situated at an altitude of 3903 m on the left, the west bank of the Río Sulloma 70 kilometers northeast of the stratovolcano Sajama , m with 6542 the highest mountain in Bolivia.

It meets four kilometers north of Curahuara on Ruta 4 , which leads from Tambo Quemado on the Chilean border to Patacamaya , which in turn is on Ruta 1 , halfway between the government seat of La Paz and Oruro.
