Location of Cunnertswalde in Saxony |
Cunnertswalde is a district of Radeburg in Saxony , north of Dresden , which lies in the middle of the so-called Moritzburg pond landscape .
The three farms of the small village (mentioned for the first time in 1378) are located near the large pond , in what is probably the most imposing section of the small hill area and, as so-called pasture farms with 114 hectares of land, belonged to the Dresden racing club until 1945, which raised foals here by a foal breeding club founded especially for this purpose in 1882 business. In the course of the land reform , the association was expropriated and the land was distributed to new farmers. The place was incorporated into Bärnsdorf on January 1, 1950 and belonged with this to the municipality of Promnitztal between 1994 and 1998 .
The Lößnitzgrundbahn has a stop in Cunnertswalde. There is also a hunting school (formerly Wettinischer Reit-, Jagd und Falknerhof) and a kind of zoo. There are three cultural monuments in the village .
