Cursed is a fantasy series based on the novel of the same name by Frank Miller and Tom Wheeler . The series is a reinterpretation of the Arthurian saga and appears on the streaming service provider Netflix .

From the perspective of the protagonist Nimue is Arthurian saga says. However, this does not always correspond to the original legend; for example Arthur is already the same age as Nimue. The sword Excalibur here comes from the Faie, in the original legend it was forged by Merlin.
History of origin
On March 28, 2018, it was announced that Netflix had placed an order for a ten-episode series for Cursed. The series is based on the illustrated and at the time unpublished book of the same name by Frank Miller (illustration) and Tom Wheeler (author) about a reinterpretation of the Arthurian saga. The two authors of the book Miller and Wheeler also took over the production of the series Cursed . The publication of the work was announced for autumn 2019. The plot is told from the perspective of the heroine Nimue. On September 12, 2018, the role of the protagonist was cast with Katherine Langford , while it was also announced that Zetna Fuentes will direct the first episodes.
Filming of the first season should last from March to September 2019 and began on March 4, 2019. The filming was in the British Deepcut in Frensham , which served as the backdrop of a Celtic village, in Albury Park in Surrey , in Bradford-on-Avon and in the Forest of Dean in the Clearwell Caves .
