Cyclodecanone is a chemical compound from the group of cycloalkanones .
Extraction and presentation
Cyclodecanone can be obtained by hydrogenating isomerization of cyclodecadiene (1,5) -trans-epoxide . The preparation by Hock's cleavage starting from decalin or the preparation from sebacic acid diethyl ester by reaction with sodium in a solvent is also possible.
properties
Cyclodecanone is an amorphous solid .
