Cycloalkanones

The cycloalkanones form a group of substances that are derived from the cycloalkanes and contain exactly one keto group in the ring and no other heteroatoms or multiple bonds . The representatives without side chains - starting from the simplest representative cyclopropanone - form a homologous series .
