Cyclododecylamine is a chemical compound from the group of amines . The flammable, yellowish solid is practically insoluble in water.
Extraction and presentation
Cyclododecylamine is obtained by reaction of cyclododecene with hydrocyanic acid in the presence of concentrated sulfuric acid and hydrolysis of the intermediate N obtained -Cyclododecylformamid.

Cyclododecylamine can be oxidized to cyclododecanone . It is also required for the synthesis of the fungicide dodemorph .
