Cyphanthera myosotidea is a plant type from the genus cyphanthera in the family of the nightshade family (Solanaceae).

Cyphanthera myosotidea is a round growing dwarf shrub with a height of up to 30 cm and a width of up to 45 cm. Its branches are sticky, the leaves are elongated, elliptical or ovate, and sometimes suddenly tapered in the lower half. They are seated or almost seated, usually 2 to 10 mm long and 1 to 4 mm, but sometimes they are larger. They are sticky hairy with glandular and non-glandular trichomes .
The flowers stand individually or in groups of up to three flowers in zymen-like inflorescences. The flower stalks are 1 to 10 mm long. The calyx is 2 to 5 mm long and hairy. The crown is 6 mm long, hairy to 11 on the outer side and sparse on the inside papillate . It is colored white and has purple stripes. The petals are broadly elliptical or circular and 2.5 to 5 mm long. The stamens are 2 to 5 mm long and hairy at the base.
The fruit is a spherical to broadly egg-shaped capsule with a length of 2.5 to 4 mm. The seeds are about 2.5 mm long.
Distribution and locations
The distribution area of the species extends from northwest Victoria over the Murray region to the Eyre Peninsula and the Kangaroo Island in South Australia . The species is often found in sandy soils of the Mallee , it is often found in disturbed locations and after fires.
