Cyprien Mbuka CICM (born November 13, 1943 in Kizu ) is bishop of Boma .

Life

Cyprien Mbuka joined the religious order of the Congregation of the Immaculate Heart of Mary and was ordained a priest on August 27, 1972 . Pope John Paul II appointed him on April 21, 1997 auxiliary bishop in Boma and titular bishop of Simidicca .

The bishop of Boma, Joachim Mbadu Kikhela Kupika , donated him episcopal ordination on October 19 of the same year ; Co - consecrators were Cardinal Frédéric Etsou-Nzabi-Bamungwabi CICM, Archbishop of Kinshasa , and Faustino Sainz Muñoz , Apostolic Nuncio in the Democratic Republic of the Congo .
