Czechoslovakia 1968 is an American documentary film released in 1969.

The history of Czechoslovakia from 1918 to 1968 is presented in pictures and film clips. In the second part of the film, special attention is paid to the Prague Spring and the violent suppression of the democracy and reform movement under Alexander Dubček by the invasion of the Warsaw Pact troops .

Awards

In 1970 the film was awarded an Oscar in the Best Documentary Short Film category.

In 1997 the film was accepted into the National Film Registry of the National Film Preservation Board.
