The Döbelner Anzeiger is a local edition of the Sächsische Zeitung . It first appeared on April 27, 1990 in Döbeln , Hartha , Leisnig , Roßwein , Waldheim and Ostrau . The sold circulation is 7,349 copies, a decrease of 52.5 percent since 1998.
history
The newspaper was founded by the publisher of the Hellweger Anzeiger in Unna , Günter Rubens. Unna has been a twin town of Döbeln since 1989. The newspaper was founded at the request of the Round Table in Döbeln, chaired by Pastor Rainer Landgraf.
The title is based on the Döbelner Anzeiger , which was published in Döbeln by the publisher Thallwitz until 1945. The newspaper was initially printed by the Graphische Betriebe FW Rubens in Unna and also received its national news from Hellweger Anzeiger , later from the Freie Presse (Chemnitz) and finally from the Sächsische Zeitung (Dresden).
After the newspaper was sold to the Dresden printing and publishing house in 2006, it is now a local edition of the Sächsische Zeitung under the old title . There is a separate regional company for the publication of the local edition : Redaktions- und Verlagsgesellschaft Döbeln mbH. Elke Görlitz is the managing director of the editorial team and regional director of the local editorial office in Döbeln. The managing director of the publishing house is Matthias Poch.
