Düppel is a hamlet of Kindelbrück in the Sömmerda district in Thuringia .

Geographical location

Düppel is located about 2 km northeast of Bilzingsleben on the southern roof of the eastern Hainleite . The location is surrounded by fields, in the north and west the mountain slopes are forested. The highest point of the district is on the summit of a nameless mountain with a height of 390.6  m above sea level. NHN , which rises 1.5 km north-northwest of Düppel. To the west - between Bilzingsleben and Seega  - is the Wipper breakthrough. The place can only be reached via a road from the direction of Bilzingsleben.

In 1864 the village was first mentioned in a document. Until it was incorporated into Kindelbrück on January 1, 2019, Düppel was part of the municipality of Bilzingsleben as a district .
