The village of Düsselbach is one of four districts of the Middle Franconian municipality of Vorra in the district of Nürnberger Land in Bavaria .
The place is part of the Alfalter district and belongs to the Velden administrative community . It is located on the right of the Pegnitz , 1.2 km southwest of Vorra and north of Alfalter on the state road 2162 . To the south, the Rumpelbach flows into the Pegnitz as a right tributary.
history
In a document from 1356 you can find the place as "Distelbach". The Bailiwick of Hersbruck is said to have owned a fief here many years earlier , but this has not yet been proven. The Hersbruck Nursing Office was responsible for Düsselbach at the time. Around 1500 there were twelve properties on the "Distelbach", today there are around 35. A district of Alfalter until the municipal reform , Düsselbach was incorporated into Vorra in 1972 together with its main town.
