DB Tubbs

Douglas Burnell "Bunny" Tubbs aka DB Tubbs (born March 22, 1913 in London , † November 1999 ) was a British non-fiction author and translator.

Life

Tubbs grew up with acute physical disabilities. He studied for his Bachelor Accounts 1936 at Christ's College in Cambridge at the Harvard University in the United States .

He was passionate about automobiles at an early age , was an early member of the Vintage Sports-Car Club (VSCC) and the Guild of Motoring Writers (GoMW) and wrote for The Motor magazine (later Motor ) for many years . Some of his books, mainly on the subject of automobiles, appeared in several editions, some in other languages.

Tubbs was married and had three children. He died at the age of 86.
