The Rolls-Royce Phantom has always represented the clearly distant top model from Rolls-Royce since 1925 , although the company used the name Phantom for different model generations of this large and exclusive luxury car in the past century . The top model, developed and built under the direction of BMW from 2003 , also bears the name Phantom again.

To date, a total of eight models have been built:

The car among other things, as a vehicle of the villain Auric became known Goldfinger in the eponymous James Bond film of 1964. In the same year of the episodes feature film was also created in the UK The Yellow Rolls-Royce ( The yellow Rolls-Royce ), directed by Anthony Asquith , in which a yellow Phantom II takes center stage.
