Dagmar Andres (born December 3, 1969 in Cologne ) is a German politician ( SPD ).

education and profession

Andres completed an apprenticeship as a tax clerk from 1992 to 1995 and worked for 19 years in a tax consultancy and auditing firm in Hürth until 2012 . Parallel to her professional activity, she made up her technical college entrance qualification from 1995 to 1996 and then attended the commercial college in Bonn , where she graduated as a state-certified business economist specializing in taxes. From 1998 to 1999 she attended an accountant course and graduated as a certified accountant (IHK).

Politics and mandate

Andres joined the SPD in 1986. From 2008 to 2013 she was chairwoman of the SPD district Lechenich / Konradsheim / Ahrem / Herrig . In 2009 she was elected to the city council of Erftstadt , where she is deputy chairwoman of the school committee and serves as a member of the sports and auditing committee. From 2011 to 2013 she was deputy chairwoman of the SPD Erftstadt, on whose board she was previously an assessor. Since December 2013, Dagmar Andres was deputy chairwoman of the SPD district association Rhein-Erft.

In the state elections in 2012 she was a direct candidate for the SPD of the constituency Rhein-Erft-Kreis III in the North Rhine-Westphalian state parliament with 43.5 percent of the vote . In the following election , she lost her direct mandate to the CDU candidate Gregor Golland .

Andres was the secretary of the state parliament, member of the budget and finance committee, member of the budgetary control committee, deputy chairwoman of the study commission III to assess the sustainability of the public budget in North Rhine-Westphalia and member of the electoral committee. She was also a deputy member of the committee for culture and media, the municipal committee and the sub-committee for state companies and special funds. Your constituency office was in the Fritz-Erler-Haus in Erftstadt , where the SPD district association is also based.

On November 30, 2019, Andres, together with Daniel Dobbelstein, was elected as the new chairman of the SPD district association Rhein-Erft. She takes over from Guido van den Berg , who died in May 2019.

Private

Andres is married and has two children. She lives with her family in Erftstadt-Lechenich.
