Dagmar Garbe
Dagmar Garbe (* 1952 in Hanover ; † June 9, 2012 in Grebenstein ) was a German writer and visual artist .
Act
Dagmar Garbe published thirteen books and around 30 short prose texts (biographical and “black” stories about women) in literary magazines ( Podium , “Ort der Augen”, “Freiberg Hefte”), anthologies and literary Internet portals. In addition to the editions of two Heyne mini books, her work includes picture, children's and youth books, around 30 mini crime novels for guessing in "Domino - Radio for Children" of the Hessischer Rundfunk hr2 (together with her husband, the writer Burckhard Garbe ) , two book thrillers for children from their series “Die Clique vom Beußelhof” and a six-part bedtime story “Tinka and Bella Malsomalso” in the rbb series Ohrbär - radio stories for little people (read by Katharina Thalbach ). As a writing teacher, she led a group of the “Generational Writing Workshop of the Ev. Akademie Rostock ”as well as a primary school writing group for several years (both with her husband). Also jointly (central jury work) they initiated the Holzhäuser Heckethaler literary young talent prize , since 2012 also known as the “North Hessian Literature Prize”, which has been awarded annually since then. The two of them designed “literary menus” in restaurants. Since 2005 there have been exhibitions of her digital photo art "JULDA DigArt" in several cities. Dagmar Garbe was a member of the nationwide Friedrich Bödecker Circle and of the Plesse, Bovenden near Göttingen authors ' circle .
She lived with her husband in Immenhausen-Holzhausen , then in Grebenstein .
