Dagmar Seume (born January 8, 1964 in Lehnin ) is a German film director .

Life

Dagmar Seume first studied sports education and worked as an artistic gymnastics trainer. From the beginning of the 1990s she accompanied various events as a project manager, from 1994 to 1996 she worked as a production manager. Between 1996 and 2006 she learned the craft of directing, often as assistant to the director Torsten C. Fischer . Seume has been making films himself since 2006, besides documentaries and long-term portraits, also feature films and series.

Seume also writes texts for advertising as well as industrial and documentary films. In 2009, she portrayed children's and youth film director Rolf Losansky in her film Verdammt, I am grown up .
