Daiva Matonienė
Daiva Matonienė (born March 13, 1973 in Ginkūnai , Šiauliai Rajongemeinde ) is a Lithuanian politician from Šiauliai , Vice Minister of the Environment .
Biography
From 1980 to 1989 she studied at the School Rėkyva and 1993 she graduated from high school for education in Panevezys and was preschool teacher . From 1998 to 2003 she graduated with distinction in business administration and in 2005 a master’s degree in finance and banking at Šiaulių universitetas .
From 2000 to 2004 she worked in the company T „B “Salda”. Since 2003 she has been teaching in the Šiauliai department of the Vakarų Lietuvos verslo kolegija . From 2007 to 2011 she was Deputy Mayor of Šiauliai, and from 2011 to 2013 she was a member of the Šiauliai City Council. She has been Lithuania's Deputy Environment Minister since December 21, 2012, Deputy of Valentinas Mazuronis until 2014, and Deputy of Kęstutis Trečiokas in the Butkevičius cabinet since July 2014 .
