The Dala Democrats is a Swedish , social democratic daily newspaper with a circulation of 14,800 copies (2012).

The headquarters of the editorial office is in Falun with local editorial offices all over Dalarna : Borlänge , Avesta , Hedemora , Säter , Ludvika , Smedjebacken , Vansbro , Gagnef , Leksand , Rättvik and Mora . The newspaper has about 100 employees.

The editor is Lennart Håkansson and editor-in-chief Göran Greider. Greider is also known as a writer and poet in Sweden - he took over as editor-in-chief in 1999. There is an editorial collaboration with the Svenska elektrikerförbundet union .
