Dale Parker
Dale Parker (born May 12, 1992 ) is a retired Australian track and road cyclist .
Dale Parker was Oceania champion in 2008 in the individual and team pursuit of the junior class. The following year he won the silver medal in the team pursuit at the Junior World Championships. In 2010 he became Australian champion in the singles pursuit, in the omnium in the junior class and in the team pursuit in the elite class. At the Junior World Championships he won the silver medal in the single pursuit, and at the Commonwealth Games he was successful with the Australian team in the team pursuit.
On the road, Parker was the 2010 Australian junior individual time trial champion. In the road race , he finished second behind Jay McCarthy . At the Junior World Championships in Offida , he was fourth in the individual time trial. In 2011 Parker drove for the American Continental Team Trek Livestrong U23 .
At the end of the 2011 season, Dale Parker announced that he would end his cycling career at the age of 19.
