The Dale River is a river in the southwest of the Australian state of Western Australia in the Wheatbelt region .
geography
The river has its source around 18 kilometers west of Westdale on the Brookton Highway on the eastern slopes of the Darling Range . From there it first flows east and crosses under the Brookton Highway at Westdale. Shortly before reaching the Great Eastern Highway , it turns north and flows into the Avon River at Dale Bridge on this highway .
