Damian Adamus (born February 20, 1967 in Katowice ) is a former German - Polish ice hockey player ( Center ) who played for the Adler Mannheim , Krefeld Penguins and Revierlöwen Oberhausen from 1986 to 2001 .

Career

Damian Adamus, who originally learned the trade of tanner , began his professional career in 1986 at GKS Katowice in the Polish Ekstraliga . In 1989 he moved to Germany to first play in the ice hockey Bundesliga at EHC Freiburg . From 1993 to 1996, at the peak of his career, he then played three seasons with Adler Mannheim in the ice hockey Bundesliga and from the 1994/95 season in the German ice hockey league , scoring 40 goals in 151 games. He was mainly used in a series of attacks with Pavel Gross and Rob Cimetta . After three years he went to the Krefeld Pinguinen in 1996 and one year later he switched to the 1st Bundesliga at EC Bad Tölz . In this league he then played in two years for a total of three teams. In 1998 he managed to return for four games in the DEL to the Revierlöwen Oberhausen . In 2001 he ended his career after 15 years as a professional at ERC Selb in the Oberliga, after spending the previous year at EV Landshut .

International

For Poland Adamus took part in the U20 World Junior Championship in 1987 and the B World Championship in 1994 .
