Damir Milinović (born October 15, 1972 in Rijeka ) is a former Croatian football player .
Career
From 1994 to 1997 Milinović played for HNK Rijeka , where he scored six goals in 79 games. From July 1997 to December Milinović played for Croatia Zagreb . There he only came on three missions. He then moved back to HNK Rijeka, where he played from early 1998 to July 2000. There he came to six goals in 68 missions. During this time he also made two appearances in qualifying for the UEFA Champions League . In the 2000/01 season he played for VfL Bochum in the German Bundesliga , where he made 20 appearances. he also made two appearances in the DFB Cup . He then returned to HNK Rijeka until the end of the year. There he was used eight more times and scored a goal. In 2002 he played for NK Zagreb . There he was also used twice in qualifying for the UEFA Champions League and played 25 games in which he scored one goal. From 2003 to the end of June 2004 he played again for the HNK Rijeka and came there to another 41 missions. He then went to Dinamo Zagreb until January 2005 . For Zagreb he played two games in qualifying for the UEFA Europa League and two games in the UEFA Europa League and 14 games in the 1st HNL . In January 2005 he was signed by Austria Salzburg , where he played until June 2005. During this time he made ten appearances in the Austrian Bundesliga and one game in the ÖFB Cup . From 2005 to 2007 he played with NK Pomorac Kostrena . At the end of the 2006/07 season, Milinović ended his playing career there.
From 1997 to 1999 Milinović came to four missions in the Croatian national football team . He made his national team debut on June 12, 1997.
From September 2008 to December 2008 Milinović was the coach of the NK Pomorac Kostrena. From 2009 to 2012 he then trained the NK Grobnican. From July 2012 to November 25, 2012 he was the trainer of the HNK Gorica . From January 13, 2013 to June 16, 2015 he trained the NK Novigrad. Then he was the trainer of the HNK Cibalia Vincovki until September 7, 2015 . From September 9, 2015, he trained the HNK Gorica again until March 30, 2017. He has been the coach of FC Koper since March 30, 2017 .
