Damjan Pejčinoski (Macedonian: Дамјан Пејчиноски, born October 25, 1984 in Ohrid ) is a Macedonian guitarist who plays in contemporary electric guitar, especially in guitar-heavy fusion jazz .

Live and act

Pejčinoski started playing the guitar at the age of six. After completing elementary school and high school in his hometown of Ohrid, where he still lives today, he took part in the National Music Academy “Prof. Pantscho Wladigerow ”started studying in Sofia with a full scholarship in the field of jazz , which he completed with a master’s degree. In the course of his musical career, Pejčinoski made numerous national and international appearances. In May 2010 he represented his country as a participant on stage in the Eurovision Song Contest in Oslo . From April 11th to April 14th 2012, for example, he took part in the famous guitar festival in Omiš .

Pejčinoski played on a Music Man Axis until recently , when PRS (Paul Reed Smith Guitar Company) made a guitar dedicated to him. This makes him the first musician from Southeast Europe who can join the list of PRS players such as Carlos Santana , Orianthi , Al Di Meola and Dave Navarro .
