Career

After his youth with Gloria Bistrița , Roman began his career in 2006 with Mobila Sovata in Liga III . After eleven goals in 15 games, he returned to Bistrița in early 2007. In League 1 , however, he could not prove his scoring risk and was loaned to Forex Brașov in League II for a year in the summer of 2007 . There he came in the 2007/08 season on seven hits in 31 missions. After his return he came for Gloria in the 2008/09 season only to four missions.

In the summer of 2009 Roman Bistrița turned his back on and joined CSM Râmnicu Vâlcea , who played in Liga II at the time. Half a year later he signed league competitor FCM Târgu Mureş , with whom he was promoted to League 1 at the end of the 2009/10 season . In early 2011 he moved to Gaz Metan Mediaș . With Gaz Metan he was able to finish the 2010/11 season in seventh place and qualify for the Europa League . In the following years he fought with his team to stay in class. In the summer of 2015 he signed the FC Botoșani , which he left a year later to CSMS Iași . He stayed here for only two months before joining CFR Cluj in early September 2016 . In Cluj he mostly came on as a substitute. In the summer of 2017 he left the club again and joined UTA Arad in Liga II. Two months later he switched to league rival FC Hermannstadt , where he ended his career at the end of 2017.
