Daniel Richard Tudin (born August 3, 1978 in Ottawa , Ontario ) is an Italian - Canadian ice hockey player who has been under contract with Ritten Sport from the Italian A1 series since summer 2006 .

Career

Dan Tudin began his career as a hockey player in 1995 with the Ottawa 67’s of the Ontario Hockey League , where he was on the ice for four years before moving to Dalhousie University from the Canadian Interuniversity Sport in 1999 . There he played for four years and became a member of the All-Star-Team in 2002 and in the same year became the fairest athlete and a year later became the best student athlete. In 2003 he moved to the ECHL with the Columbus Cottonmouths for one season . In the summer of 2004 Tudin signed a contract with league rivals Las Vegas Wranglers , which was renewed for another year the following season. In the 2005/06 season he came in addition to the 65 missions with the Las Vegas Wranglers and five missions with the farm team Omaha Ak-Sar-Ben Knights from the American Hockey League . In the summer of 2006, the Italian-Canadian signed a contract with Ritten Sport for the Italian A1 series , which was extended several times. With the South Tyroleans he won the Italian championship in 2014, 2016, 2017 and 2019 as well as the cup competition in 2010, 2014 and 2015 . In addition, he won the Italian Super Cup in 2009, 2010 and 2017 .

International

For Italy , Tudin took part in the World Championships in the top division in 2012 and 2014 and in Division I in 2016 .
