Daniel Bartolotta , full name Daniel Roberto Bartolotta Pereira , (born January 9, 1955 in Montevideo ) is a former Uruguayan football player and coach.
Player career
society
Midfielder Bartolotta was at the beginning of his career in 1975 in the ranks of Club Atlético Defensor . In the seasons 1975/76 to 1977/78 he played for Real Oviedo in Spain . There he ran in the first season in 20 games of the Primera División and scored two goals, but was relegated with the club. This was followed by 24 appearances and two goals in the Segunda División . His last game for the club he played on May 7, 1978 against Real Valladolid . The next employer was in the 1978/79 and 1979/80 seasons and Deportivo La Coruña . Until his last use for the Galicians on March 2, 1980 against Osasuna , he played 28 second division matches and scored twice in the opposing goal. Then he was also active in the 1979/80 season in twelve league games (one goal) for Tampico from Mexico . He was also used four times (no goal) in the Liguilla. From the 1980/81 season to the 1982/83 season he was under contract with Deportivo Neza . The statistics show him 101 first division games with his participation and 17 personal goalscoring as well as six Liguilla games (no goal). Other sources list 97 league games and 18 goals for him. In the 1983/84 season, a career station followed at CF Monterrey with 35 missions and two goals. This was followed by an engagement with Puebla FC from 1985 until the 1987/88 season . In the last two seasons he has made 75 league games with 16 goals. At the end of his career he still played for UANL Tigres (30 games / 4 goals) in the 1988/89 season .
National team
Bartolotta was a member of the Uruguayan U-20 national team that took part in the 1974 Junior South American Championship in Chile . The team became vice-South American champions. During the tournament he was used by coach Carlos Silva Cabrera six times and scored two goals. He played eight times for the senior national team of Uruguay .

Coaching
After his active career, he worked as a coach. He successfully completed the relevant training in 1990 at the Mexican Association. He coached CF Atlante's U-19s from 1997 to 1998 . Further coaching stations were from 1999 to 2004 Cerveceros de Tuxtepec, from 2004 to 2005 Linces de Xalapa in the Tercera División, from 2005 to 2005 Tiburones Blancos de Xalapa, 2008 Ficundep de Xalapa, 2009 Tiburones rojos de Jalaccingo and 2010 Ficumdep de Cempoala each in the Segunda División. As an assistant coach he worked under Hugo Fernández Vallejo at Dorados de Sinaloa . From 2011 to 2012 he was initially responsible for the U-20s of the Puebla FC and from March 2012 to August 2012 for the first division team.
