Daniel Dicker (born June 5, 1995 in Graz ) is an Austrian handball player .
Career
Born in Graz, he began playing handball at UHC Graz and HIB Liebenau . In 2011 he made his debut in the HSG Graz fighting team , which took part in the Handball Bundesliga Austria . After two years he moved to HSG Raiffeisen Bärnbach / Köflach in the Handball League Austria . He has been under contract with the Vorarlberg club Alpla HC Hard since the 2014/15 season . In 2014/15 and 2016/17 the right-hander with the "red devils" secured the Austrian championship title. After the 2017/18 season , his contract with Vorarlberg was not extended. A short time later it became known that the backcourt player had signed with the HSG Graz in his hometown.
In April 2020 it was announced that Dicker had signed a two-year contract with ThSV Eisenach . This means that the backcourt player will appear in a league abroad for the first time from the 2020/2021 season. With him replaced Thomas Eich Berger has previously also played in the HSG Graz.
In addition, the 1.98 meter tall backcourt player took part in the handball league Austria with the youth national team born in 1994 in the 2013/14 season . This was in preparation for the 2014 European Youth Championships in Austria, where he finished sixth with the team.
