Epitaph for Daniel Eulenbeck

The magnificent Renaissance epitaph shows a resurrection scene in the main panel , the predella shows the donor family (from left to right: Daniel Eulenbeck, his father Wolfgang, his mother and his younger sister Katharina) and an inscription panel . Everything is framed by a white and gold carved architecture with fittings, lion masks and putti heads. The main panel is by Jan de Perre, the framing by Valentin Silbermann. The epitaph was located in the north choir of the university church in 1895 and was transferred to the north wall of the south choir in 1896. The current location, the north wall of the south aisle, is linked to this. A similar epitaph was in the Dresden Kreuzkirche , the place where his father worked, until the Seven Years' War .
