Daniel F. Pinnow

Daniel F. Pinnow (born April 13, 1962 in Stuttgart ) is a German management trainer and author and deals with the topics of leadership and organization. Pinnow appears in the media landscape as a commentator on management and social issues.

Life

Pinnow grew up in Balingen , completed a three-year apprenticeship as a refrigeration system builder and graduated from the vocational college / technical high school. He then went on tour with a band as a freelance jazz and rock drummer in Europe. From 1985 to 1991 he studied economics and social sciences at the University of Cologne and Bergische Universität Wuppertal .

After completing his studies, he first worked for the Airbus Group / Deutsche Aerospace AG , Munich, from 1991 to 1993 , as a member of the Central Young Investigators Group and then as a consultant for personnel development. From 1993 to 1996 he was Head of Personnel Development at E.ON Ruhrgas AG in Essen.

From 1995 to 2002 Pinnow taught personnel and organizational development at the Bergische Universität Wuppertal . This was followed by a teaching position at the Technical University of Munich from 2004 to 2012. In 2007, Pinnow was appointed Associate Professor of Leadership and Management from the Capital University of Business and Economics in Beijing. From 2012 to 2016 he taught as a university lecturer for leadership and organization at the Hochschule Fresenius in Munich.

From 1997 to 2012 Pinnow was managing director of the academy for business executives in Überlingen and Bad Harzburg . From 2003 to 2004 he was Head of Management Training at Cognos AG before he was appointed to the Executive Board from 2004 to 2007. In 2016, Pinnow founded his own training institute, the Academy for Systemic Leadership, based in Ravensburg.
