Daniel Goffart
Daniel Goffart (born March 7, 1961 in Aachen ) is a German journalist .
Goffart studied law in Bonn and Berlin and was admitted to the bar in 1991. He then worked in the legal department of Ullstein-Verlag . In 1992 he moved to the Berliner Morgenpost as a political editor and was a parliamentary correspondent in Bonn. From 1996 to 2004 he worked as a correspondent and vice office manager at Handelsblatt . In 2004 he became an authorized representative of the Board of Management of Deutsche Telekom AG , but moved back to the Handelsblatt on February 1, 2008 and was head of economics and politics at Wirtschaftswoche . Since April 2012 he has been head of the capital city editorial office of the news magazine Focus .
Goffart published a biography about Peer Steinbrück in 2012 .
