Daniel Joseph Mullins

Daniel Joseph Mullins (born July 10, 1929 in Kilfinane , County Limerick , Ireland , † November 1, 2019 in Whitland , Wales ) was an Irish clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Menevia .

Life

Daniel Joseph Mullins was ordained a priest for the Archdiocese of Cardiff on April 12, 1953 .

Pope Paul VI appointed him on February 5, 1970 Titular Bishop of Sidnacestre and Auxiliary Bishop in Cardiff. The Archbishop of Cardiff, John Aloysius Murphy , ordained him episcopally on April 1 of that year ; Co- consecrators were George Patrick Dwyer , Archbishop of Birmingham and John Edward Petit , Bishop of Menevia.

Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Menevia on February 12, 1987. John Paul II accepted his early resignation on June 12, 2001.
