Daniel Schneider (journalist)

Daniel Schneider (* 1979 in Bünde ) is a German Protestant theologian , journalist , book, television and radio author, speaker and moderator.

Daniel Schneider grew up in Bünde in East Westphalia. After high school and community service, he was an animator in Ibiza on behalf of TUI in 2000. From 2002 to 2004 he completed a radio traineeship at ERF Medien . In 2003 he took part in a TV / radio course at the "Akademie für Publizistik" in Hamburg and between 2003 and 2005 he took part in a moderation and speaking training with Hanno Herzler .

From 2004 to 2006 he worked as a moderator and editor at ERF Medien and then until 2008 at Radio Paradiso . From 2008 to 2011 he studied Protestant theology at the Johanneum Evangelist School in Wuppertal. This was followed by a theological recognition year in Wassenberg until 2012 . In that year he also completed additional training at WDR .

Schneider has been a freelance event moderator since 2004, author and speaker of the radio devotions "Kirche im WDR" at 1 Live and WDR 2 since 2010, since 2012 as theologian, journalist, television and radio author, speaker and presenter and works as a scriptwriter for documentaries - and science magazine Planet Wissen . He is the speaker for various radio plays, TV contributions and podcasts as well as the leader of moderation, communication and rhetoric seminars.

Daniel Schneider is married to his wife Eva-Lisa. The couple has three children and lives in Löhne , Westphalia.
