Daniel Völz (born Daniel Buchanan Völz on March 1, 1985 in Auckland , New Zealand ) is a German television actor . From January to March 2018 he was the protagonist of the eighth season of Der Bachelor on RTL .

Life

Daniel Völz comes from a Berlin family of actors and artists. His mother is the actress and voice actress Rebecca Völz . He is also active as an actor, radio play speaker and dubbing actor, just like his uncle Benjamin Völz or his grandfather Wolfgang Völz, who died in 2018 .

Völz came to the United States with his parents when he was three years old . As a teenager he returned to Germany with his mother and grandmother, where he lived in Berlin . Since 1999 Völz has been living in the USA again. He studied advertising at Loyola University , New Orleans, and earned a degree in International Business ( business administration and management). He works as a real estate agent for the real estate company "Sotheby's International Realty", a franchise company of the auction house Sotheby’s , mainly in Longboat Key and the surrounding area.

Völz lived with his Bachelor nomination in Sarasota in the US state of Florida . He also had a second home in Berlin, which he visits several times a year. Since November 2016, Völz was single again after a shorter relationship . At the beginning of 2018, Völz moved within Berlin, close to his grandparents.

From January 10, 2018 to March 2018, Völz was seen as a television actor in the 8th season of the RTL show Der Bachelor . As a bachelor's candidate, Völz applied at the suggestion of close friends. In the final, Völz decided on the candidate Kristina Yantsen; since December 2017 the two were in a relationship. In April 2018, the couple announced their split.

In August 2018 he could be seen on Sat.1 on Celebrity Big Brother and took fourth place. In 2019 he was in an episode with Freundinnen - Now even more so on RTL.
