Daniel Winkler (literary scholar)
Daniel Winkler (* 1973 in Munich ) is a German-Austrian literary and film scholar and Romance scholar .
Daniel Winkler studied comparative literature and French studies in Vienna and Aix-en-Provence . After working in Paris , Marseille , Innsbruck and Dresden , he has been teaching at the University of Vienna again since 2017 . His main research interests include a. in the literatures and media of the Enlightenment and the present . Together with Thomas Bremer, Daniel Winkler publishes Zibaldone , a magazine for contemporary Italian culture. He is also the co-editor of the online magazine lettereaperte.
