Daniela Pirazzini
Daniela Pirazzini (* 1959 in Faenza ) is an Italian Romance philologist with a focus on French and Italian linguistics .
Life
Daniela Pirazzini studied in Bologna and completed her laureate there with a thesis on Robert Musil's man without qualities at Sorin Stati . Working as a research assistant since 1988, she received her doctorate from Peter Koch in 1994 at the Free University of Berlin , the title of the doctoral thesis is: Cinque miti della metafora nella Translation Studies. Problemi di traduzione delle immagini figurate nella coppia di lingue: tedesco (lingua di partenza) - italiano (lingua d'arrivo) . Habilitation in 2002 at the Saarland University with Max Pfister with a thesis on argumentative text profiles. A text grammatical analysis with examples from Spanish and Italian . After being represented at the University of Mainz-Germersheim and the University of Bonn, Daniela Pirazzini accepted a professorship at the University of Bonn in 2005 and has since held the linguistic chair for Romance Philology (Italoromanic, French) in the Department of Romance Studies.
