Daniela Schwarz (born September 9, 1985 in Zurich ) is a Swiss duathlete and triathlete who was previously active as a soccer player and has been under contract with the Norwegian club Vålerenga IF since the beginning of 2014 .

Career

In her youth, Schwarz played for FC Seuzach and FC Schwerzenbach. After a stay in the USA from March 2006 to February 2007, she returned to FC Schwerzenbach, for which she played with a short break in Canada until July 2009 and in 2008 won the Swiss Women's Cup.
Then she joined the Grasshopper Club Zurich . After three years, Schwarz moved to Norway, first for one and a half years to Kolbotn IL , who finished sixth in the 2013 season , and then to Vålerenga IF in early 2014 . With this she finished seventh in the top series in 2014 .

National football team 2009–2015

Black made her debut on July 11, 2009 when she played against the Netherlands in the Swiss women's national football team when she was substituted on in the 76th minute. After that she was regularly in the squad, but was rarely used in the starting XI. In the summer of 2014, the national team qualified for the 2015 World Cup for the first time . In May 2015, she was nominated as the oldest Swiss player for the World Cup squad, although she was not used in any qualifying game and also in the last friendly matches, etc. a. was not used at the Algarve Cup 2015 .

In September 2015, she announced her resignation from the senior national team.

Duathlon and triathlon since 2016

The Winterthur native has been active in the duathlon since 2016.
In April 2018, the then 32-year-old finished third in the Rheintal Duathlon (4 km running, 17 km cycling and 4 km running). In the Duathlon World Championship on the long distance (first run 10 km, cycling 150 km and second run 30 km) she finished fifth at Powerman Zofingen in September . In 2019, the woman from Winterthur won the Gigathlon in Obwalden and Nidwalden.
