Daniele Secci (born March 9, 1992 in Rome ) is an Italian shot putter .
Career
Secci celebrated his first success at the European Summer Youth Olympic Festival 2009 in Tampere , where he won silver behind Lukas Weisshaidinger . In the same year he was eleventh at the World Athletics Championships 2009 in Brixen. In 2010 he started at the World Junior Athletics Championships 2010 in Moncton, Canada and reached 15th place with a width of 18.25 m. At the European Athletics Junior Championships 2011 in Tallinn , Estonia , Secci won the silver medal behind Poland's Krzysztof Brzozowski in the shot put with a distance of 20.45 m .
Secci won both titles at the Italian Championships in 2014. At the 2014 European Athletics Team Championship , he started in the Super League and finished 11th in the shot put with 17.32 m.
