Danielo Estefan

Danielo Estefan (born March 5, 1975 ) is a former Uruguayan athlete .

Career

Estefan was active in the sprint and middle distance running competitions. On June 12, 1999, he ran the 800-meter course in São Paulo in 1: 49.5 minutes, setting a new Uruguayan record that was only broken by Javier Marmo on June 14, 2015 . In August of that year he was part of the Uruguayan squad at the Pan American Games in 1999 in Winnipeg . There he finished 5th in the 800 meter semifinals.

Estefan is still today (as of June 15, 2015) the co-owner of the Uruguayan national record of the 4 x 100 meter relay . In this he worked as a member of the national relay on June 26, 1999 in Bogotá , which needed a time of 40.14 seconds for the distance. The national record of the 4 x 400 meter relay is also valid . On May 19, 2002 in Montevideo , he ran a time of 3: 11.59 minutes with the relay of the Maldonado campus consisting of Andrés Silva , Heber Viera , Rubén Techeira and himself .
